The parish community of Triumph of the Cross is a gathering of Catholics in the City of Steubenville who came together when six individual parishes were closed in June, 2008. We are the former members of Holy Name, Holy Rosary, St. Anthony, St. Pius X, St. Stanislaus and Servants of Christ the King Parishes. Currently we meet in two buildings, Holy Name Cathedral and Holy Rosary Church.

During the renovation of Holy Name Cathedral, all Masses are celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, 280 Rosemont Ave., Steubenville OH 43952 (Map)

   Saturday Vigil: 4:00 pm, 5:30 pm
   Sunday: 8:30 am, 10:00 am, 11:30 am, 5:30 pm

ALL SAINTS DAY – SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST
The Mass in honor of All Saints will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m., Holy Rosary Church. This is not a holy day of obligation but certainly worthy of our efforts to honor the saints.

ALL SOULS DAY – SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND
The prayers for the Masses of Saturday evening Nov. 1st and Sunday, Nov. 2nd will be that of the All Souls Masses.

CEMETERY MASS FOR THE COMMEMORATION OF ALL THE FAITHFUL DEPARTED
An All Souls Day Mass will be celebrated by Most Rev. Jeffrey Marc Monforton, Sunday, November 2, 2014 10:00am at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in the Coronation Mausoleum. Concelebrating priests and all the faithful are invited. A Collection will be taken up for Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

INDULGENCES: NOVEMBER 1 THROUGH NOVEMBER 8:
An indulgence is granted the Christian faithful who devoutly visit a cemetery and pray, if only mentally, for the dead. This indulgence is applicable only to the souls in purgatory. A plenary indulgence can be gained on each one of these days. On other days of the year this indulgence is a partial one. (Handbook of Indulgences – Norms and Grants #13)
