"How splendid the cross of Christ!
It brings Life, not Death;
Light, not Darkness;
Paradise, not its loss."
- Theodore of Studios

The parish community of Triumph of the Cross is a gathering of Catholic families in the City of Steubenville who came together when six individual parishes were closed on June 8, 2008. Currently we meet in two buildings, Holy Name Cathedral and Holy Rosary Church.

Holy Rosary Church, 208 Rosemont Ave.(West End) -

On July 1, 2008, Fr. Thomas Nau became Pastor of Triumph of the Cross Parish. Welcome, Father!

The monthly Triumph of the Cross Newsletter made its debut in June, 2008. The newletter includes articles written by our priests and several parishoners, offering a look inside some of the parish's ministries and volunteer services. There's much more to come in future editions. The newsletter is mailed to parishoners, and is also available here on the parish website. Click here for the first issue.
